Spring Art Show 2015

Thank you to all our parent and student volunteers!!  The art show was a HUGE success and featured art-making stations, a glass workshop taught by local artist Abby Rice, hip hop dancing in the gym, P.A.C.E.'s Night of the Notables, the LV Book Fair, and musical performances!

Winter Glass Workshop 2015

Led by local artist Abby Rice and art teachers Mrs. Bash and Mrs. Cannon, the glass workshops are open to all Licking Valley staffulty.  They run as an open studio and participants are able to choose from a variety of projects.  Check out some of these awesome art works!

Our next workshop will be this spring. Email Ms. Bash if you are interested in participating: kengeter-bashe@laca.org

(Pictures of the finished pieces are here!)

Fourth graders got first hand experience at the work artists do behind the scenes as they prepared for their production of the Nutcracker.  Students sketched, constructed, painted, and sculpted the costumes, sets, and props for this year's performance.  Some of the backstage crew even put in overtime coming to Mrs. Bash's room during recess, lunch, and even afterschool!  Their hard work certainly paid off as the production was a huge hit and the 4th grade was asked to do an encore performance for the school (a first for LVES!)  Way to Go!!
